Join us for an invigorating evening of Ecstatic Dance, Yoga, Cacao, and Sound Healing, co-hosted by Kristine Urban from Flow Ecstatic Dance, and Gigi, our dedicated sound bath practitioner, designed to cleanse, balance, and supercharge your Body-Mind-Spirit.  

Kristine, a certified yoga instructor specializing in dance yoga and facilitator of the Flow Ecstatic Dance events of Colorado Springs, initiates our journey with a revitalizing yoga session. As the owner of Alula Productions, a full-service wedding and event production company, Kristine's life revolves around music, her refuge, which shows in her passionate facilitation of events.  

You'll then be invited to surrender to the joy of movement in an ecstatic dance session. This session is fueled by the music of local artist Spanda, who interweaves intergalactic sounds and earthly elements in every musical journey she creates. Her heart and soul performances radiate loving vibrations, creating the perfect atmosphere for self-expression and freeing dance. After melting away physical tensions, we transition into the heart-opening ritual of a cacao ceremony.

The grand finale of our evening is an immersive hour-long sound bath guided by Gigi. As you relax, be enveloped by the healing frequencies of over a dozen crystal bowls, various gongs, and chimes. Throughout this auditory journey, guided affirmations and suggestions are woven in, shifting your focus from cleansing your auric field to harmonizing your Body-Mind-Spirit alignment.  

This unique event promises more than participation; it's an immersive journey of cleansing, balancing, and awakening.

WHAT IS ECSTATIC DANCE: 

Ecstatic Dance is a vibrant, free-form movement practice that encourages spontaneous expression and exploration. This liberating experience invites you to move your body without inhibition, guided solely by the rhythms of the music and the energy within. Whether you choose to leap, sway, stomp, or flow, there are no steps to follow and no way to do it wrong. It's a safe space for you to release, connect, and celebrate your unique dance. This dance not only invigorates the body but also fosters emotional release, creative expression, and a deeper connection with self and others. It's an invitation to shake off the every day, to move and be moved.

WHAT TO BRING:

If possible, we ask that you please bring your own blanket and/or bed sheet to cover our cushioned floor mats and for your comfort. We can provide these items for you if you're unable to bring them. No yoga mats needed! Please dress comfortably, bring water, and eat beforehand or bring a snack to  replenish your energy after dancing!

MEDICAL NOTICE FOR THE SOUND BATH, PLEASE READ:

If you have any serious medical condition  (i.e. metal in the body brain injury, recent surgery, epilepsy, etc...) make sure you get written permission from your doctor allowing your attendance of a live sound bath. The reason being that some conditions do not take well to the strong vibrations of sound baths. Additionally, please inform Gigi of your condition before joining us at our sound bath, thank you!
